If you enjoy hunting, there is a wide range of game in this area. County forest land is located within 5 miles of Big Swede's and can be hunted for grouse, showshoe rabbits, squirrel, deer, and bear. Hunting on private land is also available for a price. Deer management is practiced and must be 8 points or above. If you're a bow hunter, we have a bow season that runs from mid September through December. |
